How ADCCUL collects, uses and protects member and visitor information.
Last updated: July 2026. This policy applies to adccul.com and to information you share with African Diaspora Co-operative Credit Union Ltd ("ADCCUL", "we").
1. Information We Collect
- Information you give us: name, phone number, email, country of residence and message content when you use our forms, calculators, newsletter or WhatsApp channels; identification and KYC documents when you apply for membership or accounts.
- Technical information: basic, non-identifying analytics such as pages visited and device type, used to improve the website.
2. How We Use It
- To respond to your enquiries and process membership, savings and loan applications;
- To meet our legal obligations as a regulated microfinance institution (including KYC and anti-money-laundering rules);
- To send financial tips and service updates if you subscribed, you can unsubscribe at any time;
- To keep the cooperative and its members safe from fraud.
3. What We Never Do
We never sell member or visitor data, and we never share it with third parties for marketing. Data is disclosed only where the law or our regulator requires it.
4. Security
Member data is protected by strict access controls, encrypted digital channels and staff confidentiality obligations. Paper records are secured at our office.
5. Retention & Your Rights
We keep records for as long as regulation requires. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention duties) by writing to info@adccullimbe.com or visiting the office at 15 Nambeke Street, Half Mile, Limbe, South West Region, Cameroon.
