Anyone who shares our cooperative purpose: Cameroonians and Africans at home or in the Diaspora, individuals, families, groups and businesses. Members abroad can join remotely.
A valid ID (national ID card, birth certificate or passport), 2 passport photos, proof of address (localization plan), the one-time membership fee, an initial savings deposit and a signed KYC form. Board approval follows shortly after.
Yes. ADCCUL is a registered and regulated Category 1 Microfinance Institution (cooperative credit union) under the laws of the Republic of Cameroon, governed by a member-elected board with audited accounts.
Member funds are protected by regulatory oversight, strict KYC on every account, dual-control cash handling, daily account balancing and independent audits. Digital transactions are encrypted, and we never sell or share member data.
Rates vary by product, regular savings, Diaspora high-yield and the Horizon Pension Plan each have their own rates set by the Board (the Horizon plan, for example, grows at 4% in the seed phase and 7% in the harvest phase). Contact us for the current figures before you open.
Members in good standing with an active savings record are reviewed quickly, emergency instant loans get priority processing, often within the same week. Your savings history largely replaces heavy collateral requirements.

Shares make you a part-owner of the union: 10,000 FCFA per ordinary share (minimum 10), preferred shares from 100 shares. Shareholders earn annual dividends and vote at the General Assembly.
